Accreditation Excellence

BOSASA's Commitment and Accreditation Excellence

The BOSASA group, as well as our subsidiaries, have made a commitment to service excellence and the ongoing devotion to our reputation as leaders in our industry. BOSASA has always been a company that has based its ideals in the development and empowerment of others, and that will work tirelessly to achieve this. We emphasise the harnessing and training of local talent and are proud of the levels of excellence our employees have achieved.

To maintain the philosophy of accreditation excellence that BOSASA has become known for, it is empirical that we put in place systems of good governance and both regular internal and external audits.   In this way we can be sure that we comply with international standards, as well as our own. Our commitment to excellence can only be achieved by following strict codes on service delivery - ensuring consistent performance. BOSASA always seeks new ways to minimise risk from business environments for our clients. We therefore pride ourselves on the ability to convert intellectual property, and make it part of an ISO compliant software product. BOSASA works closely with our clients to help them set up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with ISO guidelines.

BOSASA is Proud of its Accreditation and Compliance Record

BOSASA sees these ideals as the core of our operational strategies and good governance.
We are proud of our record of service excellence and accreditations, as these have earned us a reputation as industry leaders.

BOSASA boasts accreditation excellence in several areas including:
Full Facilities Management - BOSASA is a long standing member of the South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA) and we also have links to their international counterpart the IFMA, over and above strong ties to BIFM (the British Institute of Facilities Management).

Training Facilities - BOSASA currently boasts full SETA accreditation on all of our courses. We have also been provisionally credited with the Umalusi Council for Quality Assurance in general and Further Education and Training (FET). Umalusi forms part of BOSASA's stringent quality control measures in conjunction with maintaining the standards of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). This makes BOSASA one of the highest accredited private provider institutions in South Africa.

Catering FacilitiesBOSASA's main kitchen at the Lindela Repatriation Centre currently caters for up to 9 000 people which translates into 27 000 meals daily. We maintain all of our catering facilities with an integrated team comprising of engineers, technicians and artisans. BOSASA has placed considerable emphasis on obtaining ISO, as well as HACCP compliance accreditation. In addition to this, BOSASA has revolutionised large scale catering in South Africa’s prison system kitchens which serve thousands of meals to inmates daily. This has earned us a respected membership of the National Standards Generating Body for Correctional Services.

BOSASA are proud of their accreditations, not only because they are important in respect to our clients’ view of our company, but also because we personally strive for excellence. We are devoted to making BOSASA a beacon of achievement in South Africa and internationally.
