BOSASA CSI - Giving back to the community

BOSASA IFM has a deeply rooted belief in uplifting both our internal communities and those outside of our Group. Like many corporate social investment companies, we feel the need to share our triumphs with those who need opportunities and support.

Within our own organisation, we offer our personnel numerous ways to advance themselves; from a variety of training programmes, to in-house counselling. It’s our most ardent hope to create the leaders of tomorrow through our commitment to our staff members and our societal orientation.

We also extend this vision to our clients by offering these services to a number of businesses.

BOSASA's Giving Back

Outside of our own business, we have given many care units financial backing, enabling them to achieve their charitable goals and extend a helping hand to those in need. We also heavily invest within our own BOSASA Giving Back programme. This is a collection of facilities devoted to the cause of aiding, rehabilitating, educating and supporting our clients, employees and the general public.
Offender Rehabilitation – We believe thateveryone deserves a chance to redeem themselves and improve their lives. This is especially true of those sentenced with prison time. With this programme, they have the perfect opportunity to prove their value to society and re-establish themselves as shining examples of thriving community members. The core of this system lies in the Job Centre Trust. The goal of this trust is to educate and train. The prisoners learn constructive life and work skills; a popular choice being the Offender Chef Training Programme. BOSASA became partners with the prestigious HTA School of Culinary Arts, sharing the same aspiration of teaching convicts to prepare dishes and how to cope in the professional culinary career path.
School, Crèche and Orphanage Support – Children are a valuable resource we feel we must help nurture and protect. Youth need to be kept safe, and with this outreach programme, our company financially invests in the health, education and provision for abused and abandoned children, and can help your business do the same.
Community Computer Centres There is a virtual treasure of information, potential wealth and jobs to be found online. Realising this, we at BOSASA IFM have tapped into this valuable resource by educating people to use the Internet. These centres are spread out all over the country, each impressively set up with between ten and fifty computers, giving people the opportunity to learn and benefit. We can offer important service to your employees and help to develop them in this crucial way.
Staff Wellness, Education and Training Having a satisfied and dedicated workforce is an important asset to a company, with benefits to the clients - as well as the employees. This programme assists our personnel with specialised training, counselling, career guidance and team building exercises. Any employee wishing to further themselves at BOSASA is encouraged and mentored. With this expertise and this experience, we’re fully qualified to bring the same to your business and truly grow your employees.

BOSASA IFM will always have a fervent conviction concerning the support of people; employees, children and offenders alike. Everyone has a right and the capacity to improve themselves and contribute something great to our country, making it a brighter, more prosperous place to live in. The BOSASA CSI initiatives aim to support this belief in every way possible within our own organisation and various external businesses.
