Sports & Recreation Services

Sport Recreation Management

Our sport and recreation services are born from the successful experience we have in designing recreational programmes aimed at managing the development of young people at our nationwide youth facilities. Because of this, we are able to extend our knowledge and experience in designing beneficial recreational facilities and programmes to our clients.

Incorporated into a system of full facility management, an effective sport and recreation programme can add value to employee morale and motivational levels in almost any organisation.

BOSASA IFM Sport and Recreation Activities

As part of our mission to provide an optimal working environment for all of our employees, our employee wellness philosophy incorporates access to sports and recreation facilities such as the MBP Mashie Course. Designed by BOSASA IFM staff, the course is exemplary of our holistic philosophy which - like sport and recreation itself - incorporates health, wellness and environmental improvement.

Sports and Recreation for Businesses

Practicing sport is more than a way for employees to experience the de-stressinq and relaxation benefits of time away from their work. An investment in the good health and productivity, sport contributes to the physical and mental stimulation of its participants. This encourages people to challenge themselves and apply new strategies of thought and action. As well as providing an outlet for stress management, sports activities also teaches them principles of unity and teambuilding by challenging individuals to work within the complexities of a team and inspires employees to participate more fully in any task they face together.

Youth Development

It is a well established fact that delinquent behaviour is associated with low self-esteem. Success in sports or creative endeavours can help young people to become healthier adults because it teaches them the essential problem-solving skills they need to develop a healthy self-construct. Our experience at BOSASA IFM Youth Centres has taught us that a healthy body does indeed encourage a healthy mind and we have seen how physical activity aids the learning processes of children. It also helps them to develop the social skills they need to nurture friendships and discover the sense of belonging that allows them to recover.
