Support Service System

Support Services System

The BOSASA Group is a combined force of companies that includes BOSASA IFM, all pertaining to the objective of service delivery excellence and employee satisfaction. In order to maintain regularity and the management thereof, we have implemented the BOSASA support services strategy. This infrastructure supplies and facilitates in-house maintenance to the entire Group and our stakeholders. This is done through various specialised business units, including:

Human Resources

All of our people are required to complete a number of screening procedures to ensure that each member is suitably qualified for their role. We provide opportunities for personnel training in specialised courses, as well as having a symbiotic relationship with unions and employee representation bodies to ensure productivity.

Finance and Accounting

We uphold our policy to identify and recruit highly qualified professionals in the fiscal sector. By using risk and predictive market analysis modelling, we’re also equipped for the perpetually changing financial climate. Our unique software optimises workflow and provides essential feedback to all of our staff, resulting in them having the insight needed to make the rapid decisions involved in maintaining economic stability.

Compliance Systems and Auditing

Our amenability and internal auditing systems focus on excellence and accuracy, and aim to achieve externally recognised certification for zero deviations from everyday operations. All of our external audits are managed and overseen by the internationally esteemed certification body DQS, the German Association for Certification of Management Systems.

The function of our law services department is to identify, analyse and manage legal issues within the Group. This is done in order to ease application within statutory frameworks. Furthermore, the team is responsible for the ratification and alignment of both local and international business settings.

Strategic Marketing and Branding (eKayaMedia)

In-house staff are responsible for managing the seamless implementation of marketing and branding strategies. The team comprises a series of subdivisions that service all of the companies and sector brands within the Group. By equipping them with the latest tools and resources, they’re able to produce highly targeted communications through both traditional and new media channels.

Research and Innovation

An experienced doctoral research team facilitates the operations of our expansive research laboratory. This division is responsible for ground-breaking industrial developments, as well as new and innovative solutions. BOSASA has become the industry leaders in biometric surveillance as a result of this professional team.

Procurement and Logistics

Our purchasing department services an array of customer bases, catering for both internal and external sectors. The buying plans span over 110 categories that range from equipment, facilities, consumables and various raw materials. Currently, our warehouses have the capacity for more than 4500 stock-keeping unit items.

Information Technology and Networking

This colossal entity manages the ICT infrastructure for all support systems across the spectrum of BOSASA. The team of highly qualified computer engineers, technicians and professionals provide a solid basis for the management of IT-related issues.

Technical and Spatial Planning

Having experience with numerous large-scale projects, BOSASA has established a team responsible for the various disciplines in the construction industry. The technical sectors range from drafting through to fabricating and optimising, and they cover a broad spectrum of practical fields.

Transactional Planning

This unit houses high-quality printing equipment that allows the Group to deliver professionally finished bid documents. It’s a dedicated service that specialises in the preparation and establishment of professional bids, and uses a five-point proofing system to avoid disqualifications.

Overall, this infrastructure incorporates an array of decentralised, highly specialised and well-equipped units that provide BOSASA IFM with the essential utilities for optimum service delivery.
